The Horrible Crowes: Debutalbum „Elsie“

Brian Fallon – Frontmann von „The Gaslight Anthem“ – hat sich mit seinem Freund Ian Perkins zusammengetan und ein neues Seitenprojekt – „The Horrible Crowes“ – ins Leben gerufen. Am 09.09.2011 erscheint unter dem Titel „Elsie“ das Debutalbum des Duos.

Laut Ankündigungen darf man sich auf Experimente mit dunklen Soul-Songs einstellen, die sich deutlich vom Gaslight Anthem Sound unterscheiden. So sagt Fallon selbst:

“What I’m doing here is so far removed from what the stuff we do in the Gaslight Anthem […] The one thing I wanted to stay away from here was doing an acoustic folk record or something that sounded like my other band. This is a completely different beast and it’s just another side of the music that’s shaped my identity.”

Produziert hat das Ganze Ted Hutt (Dropkick Murphys, Chuck Ragan).
