Your new record is called Feeling Disconnected, it seems to broach the issue of social alienation, which is present everywhere in late capitalism. How do you actually deal with that?
We all experience social alienation throughout our life and I believe how we deal with that is what can make us more respectful and accepting individuals. Unfortunately some people are just assholes and will forever feel the need to make people feel alienated, so it’s up to people like us to touch on these issues and continue to speak our mind when shit goes down so sometimes for us dealing with this issue is writing songs about it and sharing those songs with every person we play for. Everyone has the right to be respected and feel safe.

Mobina Galore – Feeling Disconnected
Mobina Galore besteht aus Sängerin / Gitarristin Jenna Priestner und Schlagzeugerin Marcia Hanson. Die beiden Kanadierinnen brachten mit “Feeling Disconnected” ihre zweite LP über Gunner Records heraus.
Auf dieser Platte hört man auch wirklich nur Gitarre und Schlagzeug, während beim 2014er Vorgänger alles noch etwas voller klang. Doch hier fehlt absolut nichts. Sie brauchen nicht mehr als das, um tolle Songs zu präsentieren. Der Sound ist rau, dreckig und aggressiv, doch auch sehr melodisch. Mobina Galore – Cities Away
Mobina Galore, gegründet 2010 im kanadischen Winnipeg, sind zu zweit. Dass das geht ist seit dem Erfolg der White Stripes kein Geheimnis, nichtsdestotrotz unüblich. Am 2. September erscheint ihr Debüt “Cities Away” über Gunner Records auch in Europa.
