Silverstein by Wyatt Clough
Bescheidenheit und Bodenständigkeit finde ich persönlich äußerst wichtig. Das lassen wir Josh von Silverstein nochmal üben. Denn wer davon ausgeht, dass die eigene Band in 10 Jahren als die Rolling Stones des Screamo angesehen werden, ist entweder größenwahnsinng oder genial. Auf jeden Fall nicht gerade die Bescheidenheit in Person. Andererseits kann man selbiges von einer Person im Rampenlicht überhaupt ernsthaft verlangen? Nachgefragt… geht anlässlich der Veröffentlichung von „Dead Reflection“ am 14. Juli 2017 (Rise Records) in eine neue Runde.

I would never ever… make such an absolutely definitive statement!
I would instantly… trade my life in exchange for bringing back Bob Marley.
In my next life… I hope I’m Bob Marley.
If only I had known… that I could make it as a musician, I wouldn’t have tried AT ALL in school hahahaha.

The best show we ever played… SilverTooth in San Diego.
The worst show we ever played… Maybe in Berlin, we started a song before realizing somehow our guitars were all in different tunings and had to stop playing. Felt awful!
The best thing in our band history… Surviving. We’ve managed to make a living doing what we love for 17 years!
The worst thing in our band history… losing good friends on the road to accidents ☹️
Looking back… we were clueless when we started, but learning from our mistakes along the way has helped us grow into a self-contained music/business machine!
In 10 years… we’ll be considered The Rolling Stones of screamo!
